FAQs

Q: Where do I check-in when I arrive at DANCE ATTACK?

A: Please head to the registration booth when you arrive at DANCE ATTACK. There you will pick up your wristband. It is recommended that you don’t leave check-in until the last minute, as the day will start on time regardless of whether or not all dancers are there. We strongly recommend you arrive 30-40 mins before your first class to get checked in, stretched and ready for a full day of DANCE!

Q: On the poster it states “Faculty Subject to Change” what does this mean?

A: DANCE ATTACK strives to ensure each advertised faculty will be present at the workshop.  Unfortunately circumstances arise in which a faculty member receives a last minute “major” project; therefore he/she cannot attend.  In these rare cases, DANCE ATTACK will replace with another amazing and talented faculty member.

Q: What is your refund policy on the workshops?

A: DANCE ATTACK does not refund with less than 21 days notice.  Anything above 21 days an email or phone must be received and a FULL refund will be compensated. We must provide set numbers at times to faculty or venues and in most cases payments must be paid in advanced to secure faculty and/or venues.

Q: My child dances at a much more advanced level than his/her age group. Can I register in the Senior level (for example) even though my dancer is only 11 or 12?

A: The age groups set out for the levels are purely a guideline. It is up to the discretion of the parent/dancer or studio as to which level to register the dancer in.

 Q: Are observer passes available

A: Observer Pass fees range from $10- $30 per workshop – pending if it is a 1 or 2 day event. Observer wristbands are subject to availability and are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Observers should be respectful and keep noise level and activity to a minimum out of consideration for the faculty and dancers. Dance Attack reserves the right to remove any observer who is disruptive to the class.

Q: Is videotaping or photos allowed during sessions?

A: Out of respect for the choreographer, DANCE ATTACK does not allow any of these during sessions.  You may take as many photos during the autograph session! If you are caught videotaping or taking photos during session, you will be asked to leave with no refund.  DANCE ATTACK will take many photos throughout the day and post on our facebook page for you to share!

Q: Is your online registration/checkout secure?

A: 100%! We have been using PAYPAL for the last 6 years with no issues from our parents/students! Your security is our number one priority!

Q: What payment is accepted at the workshop?

A: We accept cash (preferred) and Credit card payments VIA “SQUARE”. CHEQUES will not be accepted the day of the event.

Q: Can I register by mail?

A: Registering online is strongly suggested. If you wish to register by mail/cheque, please contact us directly through the contact page!  Cheques must be received before the event.

 Q: Are group rates available?

A:  Group rates are available! Please contact Kent for more information!

Q: Does DANCE ATTACK provide lunch for the dancers?

A: No… We always try our best to ensure there are food options available onsite, although we suggest bringing a lunch just in case and snacks/water for in between classes.
